Brigg first grew as a crossing point on the River Ancholme, taking its name from the bridge constructed to make east-west journeys easier. It has a colourful history of markets and fairs and is today a thriving market town with a variety of events, and a strong industry in tourism.
With easy access to Brigg from the M180, A15 and the Humber Bridge, your journey to Brigg will be both stress-free and enjoyable. Frequent services direct from Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Hull, Doncaster and Sheffield enable passengers to arrive in town refreshed and ready for a day's shopping. On Saturdays, rail passengers are also able to visit the town using the service linking Cleethorpes with Sheffield. We are situated just outside of Brigg.
